Can someone tell me who makes the actual drive mechanism in the Apple
CD-ROM? Equivalently, as far as i am concerned, does that drive accept
the same CDROM caddy as the Toshiba drive? At least one person i talked
to does not think so.

Does anyone know of a common commercial application of the Toshiba drive?
