Message-ID: <3574@nosc.NOSC.MIL> Date: 23 Feb 91 20:34:18 GMT Sender: nobody@nosc.NOSC.MIL Organization: Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego Lines: 15 Originator: samuels@halibut.nosc.mil I just acquired a Mac capable of having memory added to it (meaning I've been living with an _old_ machine for a long time now!), a Mac IIcx. Is it possible to use 4 MB SIMMs in a machine like this? I've seen some discussion of people with 17 MB machines, but the memory in excess of 8MB was allocated only to the System. So I guess I should ask - can I add 4 MB SIMMs and then use them? Thanks for any help in this - I guess I should have paid attention if/when this subject came up before, but I never thought I'd be able to afford a more up-to-date Mac!.
