I've gotten NO replies to this post at all! I don't know if it helps, but an additional clue is that the text on the side of the page that is smudging has gotten lighter and slightly fuzzy. Shaking or changing the toner cartridge had no effect. If you have ANY idea what the problem might be, please e-mail or post here. Thanks!
