From the information I have obtained thus far, I find Apple as the only (expensive) alternative. The hardware setup is an early Mac II. I realize that it IS necessary to do a ROM upgrade through Apple, but that is the cheapest part . . . what about the drive itself? If I get worthwhile suggestions, I will post a summary to the net.
