CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 25 It seems that this is an old topic, but I do not normally read this newsgroup so I apologize in advance for the repetition. I am looking to buy bulk blank floppy disks and an autoloader, and I would like any recommendations and advice. I have an ad from a disk dealership (Americal, I think) that lists Sony 2DD colored disks for 55 or 59 cents per disk in lots of 400. I am planning to buy probably 400 to start, and possibly more later. I have been told by friends to be careful where I source disks because many places will have high failure rates. Returning disks is possible, but if I end up buying these in real quantity I do not want to spend the time and effort returning substantial numbers of bad disks to the manufacturer. Does anyone have a favorite vendor or some horror stories about places to avoid? I am only interested in sony disks, but are all sony disks the same? Are some seconds or uninspected? Also, does anyone know a good place to order an autoloader disk drive? Any price or vendor information would be greatly appreciated.
