My Finder stopped keeping track of resized and moved windows. Any new folders I create always open to the default size and position after rebooting. View by whatever is ok. Application windows are ok. I have a IIcx. This problem started while I was running System 6.05 and persisted after updating to 6.0.7. I tried rebuilding the desktop, trashing the old system and reinstalling from scratch. If I boot from another System disk, rearrange my windows, they stay there. Windows will stay where I put them until I reboot. Anyone ever hear of anything like this before? Please email responses since I don't get to the net regularly. Thanks.
