Thank you very much to everybody who answered my question about drawing
to windows and updating rapidly. 

Does anyone have any sample code or advice on implementing floating
menus/tear-off menus that have become popular recently. Does apple plan
on making this standard (in sys 7.0). Any how I hope someone out there
can help.
