I am currently writing quite a large application that I want to support across multiple platforms (Sun, Mac for example). This is a very graphics-intensive program, and I am interested in using a common graphic language. The X Windowing system is my first choice because I have experience programming in X on Suns. Does anyone have any information on X on the Macintosh? I am interested in cost (licensing), bugs, how you develop code on the Mac to run under X on a Mac, etc. I have heard of an application called MacX, but have not seen it run. Has anyone had experience with this application? I am also open to other options for a common graphic language, but I will definitely want to stick with the 'C' programming language. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Bryant Eastham
