Message-ID: Date: 25 Feb 91 19:23:02 GMT Sender: news@cadillac.CAD.MCC.COM Distribution: comp Organization: MCC CAD Program, Austin, Texas Lines: 18 Does anyone know of a (reputable) *color* video card manufacturer (e.g., RasterOps, Micron, etc.) that is capable of displaying a resolution GREATER THAN 640x480 but LESS THAN 1024x768? I ask because I want to purchase a Sony 1304 (which *is* 1024x768 (non-interlaced) capable) and display something *more* than 640x480, but not have the DPI get too high (say, greater than 85 or so)? Micron Technology has a 1024x768 card that is displayable on the Sony 1304, but the DPI approaches 100(!) (which, for me, is too high :-). Any suggestions? Is the MaxAppleZoom init compatible with the 1304 monitor? (Currently, I have a MaxAppleZoom-compatible Apple video card.) Thanks, -jwh -- John Hardin MCC CAD Program AT&T: 512/338-3535 3500 W.
