Hello again everyone,

Thanks for all the responsese re my friend's Maxtor drive for sale.  I talked to him last night and he basically said that anything under $1,000 will not be worth it for him.  I think the price is a little steep but I have no control over it.  If you are interested in these two drives still, drop me a note.

BTW, I didn't make clear enough in my original posting- it's $1,000 for each, not both...
