It seems to me theoretically possible to get PostScript copy out of such a printer, since the NeXT can do PostScript -> Bitmap (at some level) and the printer can do Bitmap -> Output. Has anyone turned this theory into practice? Is anyone working on it? I did hear some talk about something like this (driving an ImageWriter ??), but the topic seemed to fade away inconclusively. I would think that if such a printer driver is feasible, most of it could be done in a printer independant way (personally I'd like a driver for Epson compatible printers). I'd be happy to contribute time, effort, money etc to any team/person who would write such a driver. I am convinced that a driver for postscript on any printer that can do bitmap images would have an instant market. Richard. Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
