Scott) Organization: San Francisco State University Lines: 11 We just received a NeXTstation w/Seagate ST1480 400MB drive. It has a *different* ROM version than the NextStation I was testing 4MB SIMMs in (2.2 (v63) vs. 2.1 (v59)). The newer ROM has a new NVRAM preference: enable parity checking if parity memory is present? Why do I have this sick feeling we just returned a whole bunch of supposedly "bad" memory... when the problem might really be buggy NeXT firmware? Grr!!!! -=EPS=- Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
