However, I just received my 2.0 upgrade, and I notice there is no equivalent manual in 2.0 docs (that I've been able to find yet). So my claim was false. 2.0 doesn't provide the "intro to Objc" section that I found useful in learning objc under 1.0, and I think I'd be slightly at a loss for learning it if I had to learn Objc under 2.0.
