In some cases, i will agree with this last statement.  Professionally, I manage
several Novell LANs, using Advanced 2.15 and 386 3.1.  Personally, I'm setting
up a LANtastic network at home.  For my needs there, LANtastic is the better
choice.

I'm a little confused as to how the LANtastic system will cost more than a
comparable Novell system.  This is where LANtastic has the major advantage over
Novell for small network systems.  it's just flat cheaper.  What kind of prices
have you been quoted?

As the one reply I've already seen suggested, do some reading on your own.  Or,
get the person who will be managing the system to gahter information on the
systems.  For me, all I need for my system at home is file sharing.  i don't
need all the additional features Novell provides.  Your setup may need those
extras.
