I have a workstation running with an 3c501, and the BYU IPX software. I am using the netware shell Version 3.01. This computer contains a HP LaserJet II, and the JetScript board. Now for the problem. I wish to use the JetScript board from any workstation on the network. (DTP hooks into the server automatically, and doesn't allow users to use it). The JetScript driver loads up as two drivers EPT: and LPT2:. This is the problem. When I look at the device chain, I see 2 LPT2's. When NET3.COM is loaded, it redirects LPT[1-3]: to the shell. I succeeded in blocking the redirection with a very ugly debug kludge, renaming driver, running NET3.COM, and then re-renaming the driver. I use NAAP to use LPT1: from the network. It runs great and has HP LJII that way, but the people using Ventura would like a little help, ie PostScript. Anyway, to cut a long story a little shorter, I cannot successfully use LPT2: to print even when I am sure NAAP is configured properly. If anyone can make a suggestion of how to get this working, I would appreciate it very much. brian Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
