Burner) Organization: Computer-Based Lab, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA Lines: 29 I'm trying to get the Novell PrintServer VAP on a File Server to drive an Apple Laserwriter II attached to a workstation. The configuration details are: Netware V2.15 Rev. C PrintServer 1.1.0 VAP IPX/SPX V2.15 with BYU Packet Driver Interface V2.01 The Laserwriter is attached to the Serial Port of an IBM PS/2 Model 30; local printing (e.g., from WordPerfect) works fine. When I run RPRINTER, the job starts coming (the LWII's receive light starts blinking), then fails with PCONSOLE complaining that the printer is offline. The printer setup in PCONSOLE is: Remote COM1 Interrupt 7 8 Data Bits 1 Stop bit No Parity Use XON/XOFF The form being used is byte-stream, no banner page. I thought at first that XON/XOFF was failing, so I tried to NPRINT a "showpage", and even that failed. Does anyone have such a setup working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
