This  needs some clarification: psview WILL display black and white bit
images if they aren't too large.     The tops program does this quite well.

Psview will also display color postscript using the  sethsbcolor and setrgbcolor operators.   However,  I haven't yet figured  out how to get color images  
displayed.  Most likely we will have to wait for  4.0 and display postscript.
