We have a SUN 3/110 with a Seiko CH-SUN VME to CENTRONICS interface card.
This card drives a Seiko CH-5303-10 color plotter.

The 3/110 is a diskless client running SunOS 4.0.3.

The kernel builds without errors, but does not speak to /dev/lp0
correctly.  

Our command line to drive the printer is:
       seikor -o60,0 -m980<file >/dev/lp0 new_5303.dither

The error message is "ksh: /dev/lp0: cannot create".

We had everything working fine on SunOS 3.5, then went to 4.0.3 and
everything stopped working.
