 We are considering getting a RS/6000 530 as a general purpose multi-user
 system.

 Has any one had any experience with this type of application?
 (The load will be academic staff and undergraduate students.)

  1. How well does it perform when used as a multi user system?
     (Instead of a number cruncher :-) )

  2. AIX has no disk quotas, are there any work arounds to implement
     this. (Or how do you cope with students and no disk quotas?)
