With that accomplishment under my belt, I'd like to now use the serial port on my other Xstations to: - collect data - talk to my PC - talk to my lab instruments - talk to my modems - ktl... ktl... So my question is this: Is there some way to convince AIX to let me 'open' serial ports on my Xstation from within my C code? Also, wouldn't it be nifty to access said serial ports from within pcsim! I envision this as an effective (temporary) solution. W. David Lee Photonic Devices Group Microelectronics Research Center University of Texas at Austin Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
