Message-ID: <1991Feb20.023101.2687@massey.ac.nz> Date: 20 Feb 91 02:31:01 GMT Organization: Massey University Computer Centre Lines: 16 Hello, I'm using rdist to maintain identical file systems on our two DEC station 3100s running ULTRIX 4.1. If a file on the remote machine is identical to the local one in terms of ftime and fsize, but has a different mode, rdist only prints out a warning message. I'd like rdist to change the mode of the file on the remote system so it is an exact copy of the local file. How can I do it automatically? Thanks for any help. - Anand
