  I am having a problem building xview2 with the latest T.Roell patches,
the X11R4 part builds and works marvelously, but I have a problem when
trying to create libxview_s.a. I get an error from ar (invalid arg), and 
then later from mkshlib (can't exec /bin/sh).

  I am using:

	GCC-1.39
	ISC 2.0.2
	8MB Ram
	8MB free on root file system
	15MB free on build file system

Has anyone built xview with these patches, and if so, did you have this
problem??

Any clues/diffs/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
