This may have been discussed, but I just got Windows 3.0 for my PC and
started to watch this newsgroup.

Why does Windows have seemingly uncontrolled tiling or centering of
.bmp images for the desktop Wallpaper? Not only do I get strange
tilings (the image starts halfway down and then wraps to the top), but
I seem to get random tilings every time I start up. Any hints? Any
fixes?
