Please bear with me. We have an enormous data base of published art work consisting of graphics and text in ads. The fonts used to create the ads were Adobe, Type I fonts. We have legal access to an enormous set of these fonts and many, _many_ ads that use them. We are trying to build Sun/OpenWindows based tool that reads the ad file and renders it under X. I am looking for some assistance in finding a Mac font conversion tool that can take in Adobe Type I fonts and spit out Sun "folio" style fonts. A workable solution could be conversion to straight X bit mapped fonts, but we would loose the ability of the X11/NeWS server to handle scaling. Can anyone e-mail any suggestions to me? Thanks. //Andy Liwen -- Andrew B. Liwen Southwestern Bell Technology Resources aliwen@sbctri.sbc.com Who needs exercise -- 550 Maryville Center Dr. 314.529.7707 I get plenty pushing my luck.
