I would like to ask for recommendations for PC servers both public
domain and commercial.  I would also ask if anyone has used any software 
which is to be avoided to let me know.

I know of the T.Roell's server on expo -
are users happy with it, is it easy to use,...
Same questions apply to other products.

I wish to be able to run on 80386 pc's with vga monitor plus ethernet
card with generic tcp/ip.
