Hi.
We are using Xfig 2.0 and transfig 2.1.1
and there are several problems.

when someone wants to print, form xfig, using the laserwriter icon,
xfig apparently expects f2ps of some version we don't have as the format of
the f2ps comand is unlike version 1.0 ( that we also have ) and of course not th
at of
transfig / fig2dev

another thing in fig2dev 2.1.1
is that when I do  : fig2dev -L ps figure.fig > figure.ps
the postscript file has some erors :
it says
%%Pages: 0
        instead of 1
%EndProlog
        line is indented with a tab
and worst of all, there is no
showpage
command at the end of the file.
after correcting that, I can print the files on a LaserWriter, but it seems
easier to fix it in the fig2dev file and not to do it every time I want to
print something ...

did I do something wrong in the translation using fig2dev
or is there a patch for transfig available ?
