Does anyone have data for the Hitachi HD61100 General LCD driver or the HD61103 Graphic display driver chips that the LCD display uses? The board has 12 input wires. 8 of these are buffered and I assume they are data lines. Of the remaining 4, there is a 5V and ground (which I gather from the power to the 74LS buffer). The other two are probably LCD power or a contrast adjustment. One goes into the base of a PNP and the other connects to the collector. This was as much as I could gather from reverse engineering. On another note, when I took apart an LCD calculator and put it back together again, the display started to act funny. At certain angles, certain segements weren't visible or incompletely blacked out, yet looking straight on, all 7 segements (in an eight figure) were visible. What could cause this? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alan Nishioka KC6KHV atn@cory.berkeley.edu ...!ucbvax!cory!atn 974 Tulare Avenue, Albany CA 94707-2540 37'52N/122'15W +1 415 526 1818 Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
