I have the problem that I need to use a very specific font with
Word 5.0 on the PC with a Brother HL8e.

I need a Times font in several sizes but with an enlarged character-gap
(what I mean is the space between characters in a word)

Where are such fonts available (commercial or PD) ?

..or is there a possibility to change or even CREATE Softfonts.
If yes,
 wich tools do this an where are they available (again commercial or PD)
