I've recently seen a VGA monitor hooked to a MAC LC. Is this the exact same standard that the IBM AT uses? The Sony monitor was listed as being "Macintosh compatible" -- would this be merely a marketing ploy or is there really something different about the electronics (like ability to track different sync rates)? 2. Is it possible to (with the proper interface) adapt a VGA output to standard R-G-B coax lines? If the required interface is more than just a connector change, how complex/costly would the circuitry be? Pointers to commercial units or actual circuitry would be much appreciated as this would save me the cost of a new monitor. -Dave lauben@star
