If you imagine rec.games.programmer as comp.programming.games comp.unix.programmer as comp.programming.unix comp.os.msdos.programmer as comp.programming.msdos comp.sys.mac.programmer as comp.programming.mac then comp.programming (or comp.programming.misc) makes sense. It could certainly absorb a lot of traffic from other groups. ---Dan
