I would very much like to hear any comments about the quality of various fortrans available for it. The code I work with has avoided most of the VMS system calls, but things like long variable names, IMPLICIT NONE, include files and ENDDO sure are nice. I know next to nothing, though my IBM sales rep is going to send me some info on their product. However she says that the VMS extensions are not supported 8-(, though didn't know any details.
