Looking for sources for

1) a program that computes the bounding box of a figure drawn in
postscript (i.e. with xfig, then converted to postscript with transfig).
The man page on psfig mentions a program called bbfig.

2) a program that can take a postscript file as input and reduce it
   to two pages per physical page (to save paper when making handouts
   of slides, etc).
