Message-ID: <1991Mar1.014312.10324@cascade.Stanford.EDU> Date: 1 Mar 91 01:43:12 GMT Sender: news@cascade.Stanford.EDU (USENET News System) Organization: Center for Integrated Systems, Stanford University, California Lines: 14 Originator: pan@panda.Stanford.EDU A user can send mail to me through uucp but can't reply to my messages. The addresses are: send: uunet!panda.stanford.edu!pan@uunet.uu.net reply: uunet!panda.stanford.edu!pan I assumed that the reply address was taken from the "From:" field that was constructed by my host (panda). Should panda have added the suffix "@uunet.uu.net" or is it the responsibility of the receiving mailer? If it's my responsibility, is sendmail.cf the only place I have to change things? -- Douglas Pan pan@lurch.stanford.edu (415) 725-3652 Computer Systems Lab, CIS 35, Stanford University, CA 94305-4070
