McNamee ) Organization: Northern Illinois University Lines: 11 I've seen a couple of replys to the splitup proposition saying they don't think its a good idea because of the porability across platforms of most minix postings...I agree, but that wasn't the intent of the original message, it suggested a split along info/sources lines. comp.os.minix and comp.sources.minix I am assuming. After digging through the archives at vm1.nodak.edu I tend to agree. I have looked at the comp.sources.unix archive and found exactly what I wanted quickly, but having to look through megabytes of info questions to get the one source file is a pain...having a newsgroup for JUST sources would make it easier to find the files people want.
