She said that she used Windows 3.0 in her DOS box under OS/2 1.2x and 1.3. I couldn't. So I read... I noticed that several video modes were mentioned in the mouse driver help. An older version of OS/2 (1.1?) didn't give mouse support to programs operating in EGA mode. (I think that's correct.) I finally decided that using a 256 color (Sota) VGA driver could be the problem. It was. I now use the standard VGA setting and have no problems with the mouse. (Nor do I get a funky screen when I switch back to OS/2.) I look forward to experimenting with the 256-color drivers I've been promised with the Northgate boxes I've ordered. --kyler
