The solution I finally used was from anonymous ftp from princeton.edu in a file named /pub/pc3270.tar.Z. This is a modified version of NCSA Telnet that allows using the Localtlk packet driver. (I am using Katie Stevens' LOCALTLK.COM packet driver, of course, which I got from ucdavis.edu). It took me only ten minutes to set up this version of Telnet, and I am quite pleased with it. I thank Bill Sproule at Princeton for alerting me to it. I am willing to give any further details to any other beginners, like me, but I found setup to be ridiculously easy. Cheers.
