We have ten years of experience with a campus based broadband system, and feel there is a reasonable possibility of success with the citywide cable. Unfortunately, as soon as we said the word "data" the cable company heard the words "common carrier", and routed our request to their legal dept. I'd like to supply the lawyers with a list of communities which are already doing what we're proposing. If you know of a community that's doing this, please send me a note. thanks very much.
