I am trying to use the NNTP function within the NET program
to receive a Usenet News feed, and am having some trouble
with it. The machine running NET, can access hosts on the
Internet with no problem. When I issue the following
command (in NET):

NNTP ADDSERVER UU.PSI.COM 1800

I receive the following error:

NNTP 136.161.128.3:119 bad reply on banner (response was 502)

Can you figure out what the error message means and what am I
doing wrong?
