Summary: Have the (new) things been implemented at WWV/H? Message-ID: <1991Mar03.171659.6992@hoss.unl.edu> Date: 3 Mar 91 17:16:59 GMT Sender: news@hoss.unl.edu (Network News Administer) Distribution: na Organization: University of Nebraska - Lincoln Lines: 18 I got a copy of radio.txt from louie.udel.edu which contained a section on WWV/H graciously retyped by Bob Clements, K1BC, clements@bbn.com (thanks, Bob). In section 2.5.6 it talks about the BCD data that is transmitted each minute. Several of the pieces are marked as new, and I was wondering if they have been implemented yet. For example, there is the Daylight Saving Time indicator #2, a leap second warning, and values for the current year. A UT 1 correction can be .1, but is that .1 seconds or .1 microseconds (or milliseconds, even)? Lastly, I would like to hear from anyone who has used or is using the Most Accurate Clock from Heathkit and how you like/dislike it, features/bugs, and anything else you would like to share.
