I use A-Max II with my A2091 and two hard drives with no problem. My original 40 meg is all Amiga and a 105 Meg Quantum I added is partitioned with 50 megs for Mac and the rest for Amiga. No problems at all. I would recheck your setup before scrapping the A2091. Are you sure you have terminated the SCSI connection on your external drive? The Macintosh, unlike the Amiga, is VERY finicky with SCSI termination. If all else fails, call ReadySoft. They are very helpful and just might have some other ideas for you to try. Good luck!
