I have a major problem with my GVP Impact A2000-HC+2 hard
drive controller card I purchased 8 months ago (ROMS: V1.0).

The card will not autoboot when my new Seagate/Swift ST1239N
211 MB hard drive is set for unit 0. My older HD (a Seagate 
ST296N 85 MB) worked fine as a unit 0 SCSI device and autobooted
flawlessly. What is even quirkier is that when the old 85 MB HD
is set as unit 0 and the 211 MB is set as unit 1, the card 
doesn't recognize the big HD at all! A warm boot finally wakes
the card up and it is recognized.

Are all GVP controller cards this qirky? What must I do to make
the GVP card autoboot from the 211 MB HD? The 2 ROMS on the controller
card are V1.0 though I heard this problem exists with V3.x ROMS
as well. Does anyone have an answer??
