The problem is, it's broken: when no disk drives are attached, it boots up just fine, but displays no disk icons, of course. If either a hard drive and/or a floppy is plugged in, the screen goes blank at rebooting, as it is supposed to, but then stays blank forever. Caveat: I took it to a service place, where they tried swapping out one of the suspicious custom Atari chips, and that didn't fix it. So it looks to me like a broken trace or solder point somewhere, but that's just a guess. The JRI SIMM board has always worked fine. I had it installed by Berkeley Microsystems. Unfortunately I do not have the JRI installation instructions anymore, but I do have the original disk that came with it. I'll start the bidding at $150, but feel free to make an offer!
