However the person from whom I bought the IDE controller told me that I will not be able to get the full 125Mb out the drive if I have Phoenix BIOS (which I do) because apparently Phoenix does not support this drive and most I could get out it is 110Mb. Is this true? I thought that IDE drives were more or less self contained and didn't rely on BIOS to tell them how many tracks they're supposed to have. I have not installed the drive yet so I don't know if what I was told is true or not. I guess my question is should I run to the store and swap my BIOS for AMI or can I get by with Phoenix?
