HELP!!!

Does anyone know if an IDE controller (for a 40 MB HD) is made
that can be used with an IBM PC XT?  I've been told by some 
people that there is a special controller made that can be used
with 8 bit computers, but I have no idea where to find one.

If anyone can help me, I would be very appreciative.
