Summary: Video Message-ID: <4682@cocoa46.UUCP> Date: 1 Mar 91 21:45:05 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Motorola Inc., Cellular Infrastructure Div., Arlington Heights, IL Lines: 13 I have a Tantung OmniVGA HR-512 card which is actually a relabeled Genoa 6400 Card with Tantung's Video Bios. Card is supposed to have 512K on it. Now I only count 16 64x4 100NS DRAMS on the board. Nortons, Landmark, CheckIt and other programs say its only 256K. I do get up to 800 x 600 x 256 with it though. Question...Do I really have 512K or is the Video Bios / Software Drivers do some cute things to give me 256 Colors?! Thanks in advance Chuck Reichert KD9JQ
