I need a 68000 cross compiler to run on my 386 ( ISC SysV 386 2.2)
I am going to be developing code for an embedded processor that will be
running out of ROM

I have compiled gcc to generate 68000 assembler and gas to generate an object
file, however the next step is a problem. The gnu ld doesn't recognise the
object file format. 

If anyone has gone through this process I would appreciate any help that you
can offer, including advice on whether this is the best way to tackle this
problem.
