  Some time ago I came across a p/d or s/w program which
would mark envelopes with the postal system barcode
equivalent of a zip code.  At the time I didn't keep the
program, but now I'm interested in finding it and of
course can no longer locate it.  Any info on where to
find such a program would be appreciated, or even hints
as to how the encoding scheme works so I could write it myself.
