Message-ID: <16642@burdvax.PRC.Unisys.COM> Date: 27 Feb 91 20:38:45 GMT Sender: news@PRC.Unisys.COM Distribution: comp Organization: Unisys Corporation, Paoli Research Center; Paoli, PA Lines: 33 References: I recently seem to have acquired a copy of QUED/M, by Paragon Concepts. This is a word processor that has special features for editing programs, and looks like it may be a forerunner of Nisus. I have some questions about it, though. 1. Is this shareware/freeware/pd, or do I have a pirated copy? 2. I cannot find it listed in my software catalogs; if it is commercial, where can I purchase a legitimate copy? (Other than directly from Paragon, that is--I prefer to deal with places like MacConnection, they're lots cheaper and lots faster.) 3. If commercial, what is the latest version? 4. Is QUED/M a subset of Nisus? I've played with a demo copy of Nisus and love it; someday I hope to be able to buy it. If it's a subset, that means I advance my plans to buy Nisus [ it's hard to justify, since I have Word 4.0 :-( ]. I'm afraid I'm going to discover it's commercial, but no longer on the market. That raises a number of thorny issues [but please don't send me advice in this case; I'll probably just talk to Paragon....] -- Dave Matuszek (dave@prc.unisys.com) I don't speak for my employer. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | When I was young, my family bought a color TV.
