Message-ID: <122@s5000.rsvl.unisys.com> Date: 28 Feb 91 21:01:49 GMT Organization: Unisys - Roseville, MN Lines: 15 I had my Mac IIci sitting in a vertical position next to my monitor for a month. Just a couple days ago, my floppy drive went flakey. It would verify disks to be OK, and then when I tried to write to them errors popped up all over (mostly in the higher sectors). This problem occurred for both DS/DD and HD disks. I moved my box into the horizontal position and put it under the monitor. Now, everything works fine. I thought that either position was acceptable.
