Message-ID: <10310@mirsa.inria.fr> Date: 28 Feb 91 12:37:42 GMT Sender: root@mirsa.inria.fr Reply-To: lehors@avahi.inria.fr (Arnaud Le Hors) Organization: Koala Project, Bull Research France Lines: 16 Nntp-Posting-Host: avahi.inria.fr I have a magnum 3000 with RiscWindows3.21. When booting in multiple users mode xdm is automatically started by the script /etc/rc2.d/S80xdm. In order to avoid this behavior I have removed S80xdm, but then boot ends with "The system is ready." without any Console login. I have a getty console running, I can rlogin from another machine, I have echo on the console but can't get any Console login. Could anyone give me a hint to resolve this? What am I missing?
